KUKU LAND DISPUTE
OFFICIAL TERMINATION The official termination o£ the Ku.ku land dispute is indicated by a- public notice ever the signature of the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, seating that, “whereas certain persons affected have sent to the Minister of Public Works objections to the taking ctf such lands,” it is no longer intended’ to take the land for small farms settlement as originally proposed.
This land was intended to be transferred to Hu.tt Valley market gardeners who are under notice to leave the valley so that their land could be. used for Government housing purposes.
