ANNUAL RUGBY MATCH
BUNNY DAVIS SHIELD
CHURCH TEAMS MEET
The third annual match between Salvation Army and All Saints Rugby team's will be played on the High School ground's on Saturday afternoon.
A trophy, to be known as the Bunny Davis Challenge Shield, has been donated bv Bandmaster Davis, of the Newton Corps, Auckland, for annual competition and the Shield will be contested for the first time this year. The All Saints representatives on this occasion will include Presbyterian, Baptists, Brethren, Church of Christ members and free lances.
The teams have been announced as bliows: —
Salcation Army.—R. Calcott, S. Bugden, E. Clarke, J. Stein, C. Prentice, J. Prentice, J. Dunsmore, H. Pearce, A. Thomas, H. RatcliiTe, W. Dunsmore, 11. Cutts, P. Brunton, D. Waugh, nd P. L. Smi/h.
All Saints.—M. Proudfoot, L. Little, Slade, R. Renner, R. Lange, R. Scott, A. Yarrall, C. Reardon, N. Thompson, P. Kent, D. B. Waugh, T. Kent, F. Graham, B. Waugh, and W. Bound.
Of the two challenge games played in the past two seasons one resulted in a win for the Salvationists and the other was a draw.
Next Saturday’s game will be played on the High School. No. 1 ground at 3 p.m.
