MUTINY IN SHIP
CAPTAIN FORCED ASHORE
(Reed. Aug. 12, 11 a.m.) ISTANBUL, Aug. 11
The Czech Jewish refugees in the steamer Paritas, who are refused permission to land in Turkish territory, mutinied and forced the captain ashore to prevent the ship leaving Turkish waters.
Tile refugees embarked at Constanza and have been at sea for many weeks in a hopeless quest for a port at which .they .could land. The Paritas lacks money for repairs, food and other necessities.
