The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's August meeting concluded at Addington yesterday in showery weather before a large 'attendance. The track was holding. The day’s totalisator investments amounted to £48.891, compared with ,£45,536 10s last year. The total for the meeting was £138,415, compared with £118,903 10s last year. Results were:—
