GOVERNMENT CAUCUS MR. SAVAGE’S TLLNUSS LOYALTY AFFIRMED (Pur Pros* Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The caucus of the Parliamentary Labour Party this morning passed the following resolution: "We, members of the Parliamentary Labour Party, express our deep regret at the serious illness 7 of the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, our heartfelt sympathy with him in the trying ordeal he is undergoing and 1 our groat satisfaction at the good progress towards recovery., which he is making ancl which we sincerely hope will be maintained so that he will bo able to resume his position among us at an early date, “We further express our high admiration for his outstanding courage and devotion in the worst hour of his illness, and! we are pleased io reaffirm our unswerving loyalty to him as leader of the party and Prime Minister of the Dominion.” A resolution of sympathy was also passed with the Minister of Labour, the Hon. P. C. Webb, who is in hospital, and the hope was expressed that he would make a speedy recovery. The caucus expressed sympathy with Mr. J. A. Lee in the death of his mother
