LOAN DIFFICULTIES

£40,000.000 NEEDED CANBERRA, Aug. 5. Reports received by the Federal Ministry from its financial advisers it is understood, indicate that some difficulty may be experienced in obtaining in the current year the £40,000,000 of new loan money approved at the meeting of the Loan Council in June.

The Prime Minister, Mr, R. G. Mcnzics, has recently discussed the borrowing of the money with members of the Commonwealth Bank Board.
