FORESTERS’ LODGE
COURT WM. GLADSTONE OUT-PATIENT FEES The fortnightly meeting of Court William Gladstone, A.O. Foresters, was held .a the Masonic Hall on Wednesday evening, the C.R., Bro. J. Watt, -presiding. Officers assisting were P.C.R.’s, Bros. N. Taylor, E. File, V. Clement, and G. File. The secretary, Bro. C. Bruce, reported on the sick list, this, fortunately, being very small. An impressive ritual was carried out, members congratulating the court M.'C., Bro. Q. Hansen, ,and the Chapter Court on the improved court proceedings. The secretary was commended for his efforts on behalf of members on the social security funds. A discussion took place as to the desirability of the lodge instituting a fund for the payment of members’ out-patient fees. It was resolved to obtain the opinion of all members on this matter. An outline of the proposed benefit was given by the P.C.R., Bro. E. File, who was thanked for his efforts. After the usual honours were accorded the CJt., the meeting closed with a very pleasant social evening. Next meeting night, August 23, is to be ladies’ night. All members are urged to attend with their wives and lady friends. I
