BRIDGE INSPECTORS
Mr. W. Hart, railways bridge inspector at Waipukurau, is expected to leave shortly for Palmerslon North, where ha will be stationed. Some reorganisation of inspecting officers has been carried out by the department since the opening of the Wairoa section of the line. Formerly the Waipukurau official's area extended from Napier to Palmcrston North, but in future a man will be stationed at Napier and will have charge of the area from Gisborne to Waipukurau.
