PROGRESS TO RECOVERY
MR. SAVAGE CHEERFUL FRIENDS IMPRESSED MR. WEBB IMPROVING (Per Press Associntion.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Prime .'Minister, the Ht. Hon. M. J. Savage, continues to make most satisfactory progress, and the Lewisham Hospital authorities reported last night that he had had a good day and was bright and cheerful. Mr. Savage was visited yesterday by the Speaker of the Legislative Council, the Hon. Mark Fagan, who is an old friend, and by Mrs. French. Both were impressed by his obvious progress towards recovery. The Minister of Labour, the Hon. P. C. Webb, who is also in Lewisham Hospital with eye trouble, was reported last evening to be very much better.
