SOUTH CANTERBURY'S WIN

BUSH TOURISTS BEATEN MORRISON'S KICKING (Per Press Association.) TIMARU, this day. South Canterbury defeated the touring Bush team in a representative Rugby match yesterday by 10 points to eight. T. Morrison, the former All Black, scored all the South Canterbury points with two penalty goals and a magnificent field goal from 40 yards out and 10 yards in from touch. The visitors' points were scored by W Twentyman, a try, which he eonverted himself, and a penally goal. The game was poor in the first half but brightened in the second spell, when the scoring see-sawed. The home pack was outweighted, but gave a solid display, having the best of the set scrums and line-outs.
