DEATH FROM TOXAEMIA
AGED WOMAN'S INJURIES MOTOR ACCIDENT SEQUEL (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A verdict that Mrs. Jessie Smart, aged 71, died in the Wellington Hospital on May 31 last from toxaemia from bed sores, following injuries she received in an impact with a motor •car driven by Leonard Joseph Stokes on October 28, 1938, was returned at the inquest to-day.
