Mr. J. T. Tunna has been appointed manager for New Zealand of the London and Lancashire Insurance Company, Limited, in succession to Mr. C. E. Harrison, who has retired. Dr. A. M. Finlay has returned to Dunedin after two years’ post-graduate study abroad, including a period spent at. the Harvard Law School, under a research fellowship.
Mr. R. J. Kerridge, managing-direc-tor of Gisborne Theatres, Limited, will arrive at Gisborne this evening, and will return to Auckland later in the week.
Mr. J. H. Hall, a former editor of the Sun, Christchurch, and the Dominion, Wellington, has returned to New Zealand after some years abroad to take up the editorship of the New Zealand Railways Magazine. Dr. L. Hammond Aitken has been appointed lecturer In anatomy at .the University of Cambridge, England. After graduating at Otago, Dr. Aitken was on the staff of the Auckland 1 Hospital and later acted as locum tenens for Dr. E. FyfFe Lamb during the latter’s absence in England.
Mr. Clifford Sanderson, a young architect vvho left Dunedin some years ago and who lias been doing post-graduate study in town planning at the London University for the past three years, has bee'n awarded the diploma in town planning of that university.
