INTOXICATION CHARGE LICENSE CANCELLED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A fine of £25 and cancellation of his license for 18 months was imposed in the Police Court to-day on Richard Ilerlihy, aged 52 years, a carrier on a charge of intoxication in charge of a truck. Counsel said that tlie cancellation of the license would mean £5 a week to the defendant, that b.eing the cost of employing a man to drive.
