N.Z. PROCESSED MILK LICENSING PROVISION (fur Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. With reference to the customs export prohibition order published with last night’s Gazette, prohibiting, save with the consent of the Minister of Customs, the export to the United Kingdom of processed milk, the •actlng-Minister of Marketing, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, stated that an order had been made to facilitate the implementation by the United Kingdom. of the order made on June 1 prohibiting, except under license, the importation" into Britain of milk from all ■ sources, Empire and foreign.- • Processed milk meant condensed whole milk; condensed skimmed milk, full cream milk powder, skimmed milk powder, buttermilk powdev, whey powder, or cream. The British Government had requested the New Zealand Government’s co-operation by i controlling exports from New Zealand to ensure that the volume of imports allocated for Now Zealand processed milk during the year ended June 30, 1910, was not exceeded. Intending exporters should submit applicatiorts for permits to the Primary Products Marketing Department.
