OBITUARY
MR. J. MeCEEADY Tiie death has occurred of Mr. James MeCready, of Tancatua, at the age of 73. One of the pioneer settlers of the Opourino estate when it was cut up in 189(i. Mi-. MeCready for some time farmed in conjunction with a saddlery business, later giving up farming. lie is survived by a widow, two sons and three daughters. One son Is Mr. 11. C. McCready, a member of the Whakatane County Council.
