RED TRIANGLE BADGES
TO-DAY’S STREET SALE GOOD START MADE The annual street sale of badges by the Gisborne Y.M.C.A. to-day met with encouraging initial success, and by the end of the morning more than £6O was in hand. The secretary, Mr. Les. Anderson, said this afternoon that the morning’s effort was very encouraging indeed, and it was hoped by the end of the day to ’ reach last year’s total of £l4O. A splendid team of collectors, organised by Miss E. Hegarty, had been hard at Work throughout the morning, and continued their efforts this afternoon.
