McCARTEN IN LEAD
JOCKEY PREMIERSHIP (Elec. Tel. Copyright.—United Press Assn.) (Reed. July 28, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 27. Riding two winners at the Kensington meeting yesterday. M. McCarten has taken the lead for the jockey’ premiership. McMenamin and Lappin each rode one winner. In Ine final allotments two deactheats will be taken to equal a win. The Moorefield club will present the winning jockey with a silver cup valued at £SO after the last race on Saturday.
