COASTAL TRADE The Wainui was expected to leave Dunedin yesterday, and should work Oarnaru and Tim am to-day, Lyttelton to-morrow and Wellington fin Monday. The steamer is due at Gisborne on either Tuesday or Wednesday next. The Rata is expected to load al Greymouth about August 3 far Gisborne. The Kopara sailed from Auckland al. 11.15 p.m. yesterday for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. The slr.p arrives here to-morrow morning and sails the same day for Napier, Wellington and Lyttelton. The Pakura arrives at Gisborne tomorrow from Wellington and after discharge and loading .here commences a trip in the northern service. The vessel proceeds to Portland and Auckland. The Margaret W. arrived at Gisborne fit 7 a.m. to-day from Auckland; via Tolaga Bay. She .is to be dispatched to-night for Tokomaru Bav and Auckland.
HOMEWARD LOADINGS Gisborne Roadstead Port Dunedin (Port Line; agents, Williams and Kettle, Limited),'which left Auckland at 5.40 p.m. yesterday for Gisborne, arrived in the roadstead here early this afternoon and commenced loading meat and general cargo for London. The motor strip sails to-morrow night, for Wellington, where she loads general cargo that was to have been lifted by flic Port Bowen. The liner should clear Wellington on Monday for London, via Cape Horn. Karamea (Shaw, Savill; agents, Messrs Dalgety and Company), from Auckland, toads meat and general cargo at Gisborne on August 14; leaves Wellington August 21 for London, Avonmouth, Cardiff, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. Tokomaru Bay Roadstead Tongariro (Federal Line), from Wellington, loads meat and general cargo for London and West Coast ports of Britain at Tokomaru Bay August 17-10: leaves Auckland August 24, for London, via Panama. HUNTINGDON CLEARS COLON. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Huntingdon, which called at Tokomaru Bay between June 14 and 18. sailed from Colon last Monday on her voyage to London MAUNC, AN U 1 R ETU RN S. The Union Company's cruise ship Maunganui arrived at Auckland this morning after her first winter cruise to Pacific Islands. The vessel was' to sail at 8 p.m. for Wellington to begin, her second cruise. ROTORUA AT LONDON. The arrival of the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua at London, via Pitcairn, .Panama and Curacao, is reported in a cable message from London dated July 2(1. ENDEAVOUR .BEING DOCKED A 5 one of the final preparations for her voyage to England, the Admiralty survey ship, Endeavour, entered Calliope Dock. Auckland, yesterday for refit and overhaul. The vessel is due to leave' Auckland finally .for England on August 28. but so far no additional information has been received about the ship to replace her. II is not known when the marine survey which she lias started will be resumed, although not much delay is anticipated.
