PERSONAL
Captain R. Guthrie, quartermaster of a battalion engaged in training recruits for the 11th Sikh Regiment, Indian Army, has arrived at Auckland to spend three months on holiday in the Dominion. Pastor L. R. Usmar left for Wanganui by service car this morning, to conduct special services at the Church of Christ in that town. He will be away for three weeks and expects to return to Gisborne on Friday, Augus* 18.
