PURCHASE BY ADMIRALTY
OVER EIGHTY TRAWLERS SERVICE IN THE NAVY (Reed. July 27, 9 a.m.) LONDON, July 2G. The Daily Telegraph says that at a cost of £200,000 the Admiralty has purchased 80 modern steam trawlers vor use as minesweepers and other naval purposes. They are to be delivered to the Admiralty after their return from the fishing grounds. The effect on the hahlng industry will be counterbalanced by lifting the existing reEtricilions regarding landings at Hull and Grimsby.
