INSTITUTE CARD PARTY

(Herald Correspondent.)

On Saturday evening, another very successful: five-hundred party was held by the Ormond Women’s Institute. The prize-winners were: Ladies—Mrs. S. Pardoe, 1; Miss M. Greig, 2. Gentlemen.—Mr. W. Morris and Mr. A. Friar, equal, 1; Mr. R. Friar, 2. A competition was won by Mrs. Greig.

Arrangements are well in hand for the institute's dance to be held next week, and the next of the seines of euchre parties will be held on Saturday.

Miss Doreen Farrow, Wairoa, was i week-end visitor to Ormond.--Mrs. W. 11. Jones and Miss I. Jones recently returned from Auckland by plane.
