SILK STOCKINGS FROM GAS
LONDON, June 10. Silk stockings are now being made from gas, according to Dr. Harold do Witt Smith, who is attending the Textile Institute conference at Bath. Dr. Smith, who comes from Tennessee, said that the stockings, made lav a series of processes from natural gas, are more ladder-resisting than silk.
