COASTAL TRADE The Pakura. which was delayed at Hauler on Saturday, was expected to ■--ait last evening for Wellington to load for Napier and Gisborne. The: vessel is due at Gisborne towards the end of the week. The Kopara leaves Auckland tonight for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier, calling at this port cm Thursday. The Margaret W. completes at. Auckland to-day for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. She discharges here on Thursday. The Wainui left BlufT yesterday to continue loading for Napier and Gisborne at Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The ship is due at Gist*)me next Monday. The Poolta left Gisborne at 2.45 p.m. yesterday for Westport, thence Bluff, Dunedin* and Timaru. The Rata is . expected to load at Greymouth on Saturday for Gisborne and is due here early next week. The vessel is to bring coal, limber and posts.

Tokomaru Bay Roadstead Tongariro (Federal Line), from Wellington, loads meat and general cargo Lor London and West Coast ports of Britain at Tokomaru Bay August 13-15; leaves Auckland August 22, for London, via Panama. PORT DUNEDIN’S DISPATCH 1 Advice was received in Gisborne this morning that the Port Line vessel Port Dunedin, which is due at Gisborne on Friday from Auckland, will not make this her final port of dispatch. for England, as was previously announced. The ship is to proceed to Wellington, whence she is to sail for London, via Cape Horn. Two liners, the Zcalandic and the Pakeha. left Gisborne last year for London direct, but prior to that many years had elapsed since a I-lomeboat had made Gisborne her final port of dispatch.

PACIFIC COAST SERVICE A warning to shippers of the possible curtailment of future loading from Pacific Coast ports owing to the serious falling oil in cargoes is contained in a circular issued by the Union Steam Ship Company, and suggesting that importers could take advantage of tiie loading ol the Ilauraki next month. Because of ;he recent trouble on the Cape Horn, the vessel will not in future be included in the list of vessels in the service to New Zealand, and will come no farther than Australia. The next boat after the Ilauraki. therefore, will be the Hope-range, duo to load in October.

She has been specially designed to meet the increasing demands of her owners' regular monthly .service between Gdynia. Boulogne and the East Coast of South America, and is equipped with the most, modern arrangements for the comfort of passengers both in cold and tropical climates.
