GIRL RIDES 1000 MILES
LONDON, July 3. Miss Freda Newcombe, of Kenilworth. Warwickshire, yesterday completed her 1000-mile ride on horseback from Land’s End to John o’ Groats—-believed to be the longest ride recorded in Great Britain.
