BRONZE AGE GOLD

PLOUGHMAN'S LUCK LONDON. June 18. A circlet of almost pure gold, dated by British Museum experts as be-' tween 1000 and 800 8.C., in the BronzeAge. was declared not to be treasure trove at an inquest on it at Liskeard, Cornwall. Mr. R. 11. Julian, a farmer at Duloe, who found it, was told he might keep it. He said he discovered it on his cultivator after ploughing. For two years he left it on a window ledge, and then, as it had not changed colour, lie had it examined. By law an inquest must be held of all treasure trove to determine ownership.
