PEARL NECKLACE

PURCHASE FOR £12,000 LONDON, July 14. It rs reported that Mr. Charles Brotherton paid £12.000 for a pearl necklace to Princess Nicholas of Greece, mother of the Duchess of Kent. Mr. Brotherton is a nephew of the late Lord Brotherton, and chairman of William Brotherton and Company, Limited, of Leeds. He has two estates in Yorkshire, and is keen on hunting, yachting and foreign travel.
