PRICES UP TO 11/6 An entry of 40 pens of poultry was submitted to auction at Barwick’s new auction mart, Peel street, on 'Friday, birds showing to advantage under the new and commodious arrangements recently completed. The entry comprised mostly high quality stock, and sold well as follows. —Black Orpington roosters, 4s 3d to 8s each; Black Orpington hens, ;s 3d to 5s sd; White Leghorn roosters, s lOd to 11s Gd; White Leghorn liens, 3s to 3s 8d; Barred Rock hens, 3s 4d; Black Minorca liens, 3s Id; Rhode Island. Red cockerels, young, 3s 2d; Rhode Island. Red pullets, very late, 2 s lOd to 4s })d: Brown Leghorn cockerels, 3s 5d to 3s 7d; Brown Leghorn hens, 2s lid to 3s 7d; Muscovy ducks, 3s lOd; Muscovy drakes, 5s Gd.
