SHANGHAI TERRORISM
PAPER OFFICE ATTACKED LOBS OF FOUR LIVES (Reed. July 24, 9 a.m.) SHANGHAI, July 22. A band of terror:”.- attacked the office of a Chinesc-ianguage newspaper published in the International Settlement supporting Marshal Chi a nig Kai-Shek. They fired 50 shots and threw three hand grenades, killing an American bar-keeper, Tug Wilson, and three Chinese, and wounding 15 others, including one Russian driver and three Chinese constables. The police quelled the affray.
The terrorists arrived on. the scene in a taxi-cab. The newspaper was the American-owned Daily News. The police' waged a fierce gun fight with the terrorists, three of whom were arrested
