A message from Prague states that Dr. Hacha to-day made a statement that in the event of certain developments in the German foreign policy, the Czechs would loyally support Germany.
M. Hvelka, the acting Prime Minister, broadcast a grave warning to the Czechs to put from their minds any dreams that war might improve their situation
The Prague correspondent of the Sunday Times says that the statement was a result of a visit made by Herr. .Himmler, the German police chief-.-who declared that in the-event of war unrest in Bohemia and Moravia would be ruthlessly suppressed.
Military .preparations are visible in many parts of the Czech protectorate. Highways are being constructed at a great pace from Zilna to the SlovakPolish frontier. Air-raid precautions and training are being extended and aerodromes are being enlarged.
