OPOSSUM SKIN SALE Advice has been received by Messrs. Dalgety and Company that owing to the small delivery of opossum skins to stores in Dunedin the first sale has been postponed until August 11. The sale was originally set down for July 14, but a postponement until July 21 was made and mow the sale date has been altered again. It is explained in the south that the slow delivery is due principally to unfavourable weather conditions, trappers having been unable to dry the skins in time.
