Features )f the game were hard forward plav and good passing by the North Otago backs. The winners’ scores came from tries by McCabe, Depree and Brown, and two penalties and one conversion by Easton. South Canterbury’s scores were registered by Parsons, two tries. Morrison, a penalty goal, and Murphy, a conversion.

For the first time for many years, North Otago juniors defeated South Canterbury junior, by 9 points to 6.
