CLEVER FOURTH GRADERS 0.8. FIFTHS’ FIRST WIN High School A were too fast and clever on Saturday for Marist fourths, the grade leaders, and, after a fast and exciting game. School took the honours by 13 points to 6. This particularly fine game was refereed by Mr. I. N. Charles. - In the second fourth-grade game, Old Boys scored a popular and welldeserved win over High School B, to the tune of 1C points to 3. Old Boys fully deserved their victory. Mr. E. Sharpe was the referee. OLD BOYS BREAK DUCK

Old Boys scored a popular first win in the fifth grade when they swept all over High School B to gain an easy victory by 21 points lo 8, the referee in this game being Mr. Tom Leslie. High School A retained their lead in the fifth grade when they beat Marist, second on the ladder, in a hard-fought game, by 8 points to 3. The match was refereed by Mr. L. R. Stichbury.
