WIN FOR OLD GIRLS Old Gir15....2 goals . A wapuni.. ..1 Old Girls defeated Awapuni in rather a drab game by two goals to one. At half-time Old Girls led by one goal to nil, as a result of a goal by Mrs. Nicol, while Miss Monica put uUi further ahead soon after the interval by a good effort in which she received no support. Miss Uranam cored Awapuni’s only goaf towar«. the close of the game. Neither team did its best. Tile Cm. Girls’ forwards gave tiro two stars, Mrs. Nicol and Miss Monica, little support, while the halves were not strong. The two full-backs, Misses Keiha antt Moeraki, however, performed very well. Awapuni’s forwards gave a very fandisplay towards the close of the game, Mrs. Wilson and Miss Graham being .he hardest worked. Miss Wilson was the best of the halves and Miss nr the most prominent of the fullbacks.
