FATALLY SHOT
WANG ANUI ACCIDENT (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. Eric Hawkins, aged 16, was fatally shot in an amusement parlour m Victoria avenue this afternoon. With a mate named Matthews, Master Hawkins was handling a rifle near a shooting gallery when it accidentally discharged, the bullet entering Master Hawkins’ right chest. He died on the way to the Wanganui Hospital.
