(Herald Correspondent.) The Motu schoolboys played Koranga in Matawai on Saturday as a curtainraiser to -the Poverty Bay B representatives v. Motu Sub-union match. Motu were victorious by 20 points to 11. | A very good game of basketball was played between Motu and Matawai girls. Motu had -a narrow victory by 13 goals to 12. Mrs. W. Stewart was the referee. Matawai schoolgirls defeated Motuhora 'by 14 goals to three. Miss A. Gibson was the referee.
