"A BILL OF DIVORCEMENT’’ On, Monday night playgoers and followers of the drama will have the chance of witnessing one of the great classics of our day, Clemente Dane’s mnsterpiee. “A Bill of Divorcement.” Ir. presenting such a famous and thought-provoking .play the Gisborne Repertory Society feels that it ’.s living up to the best traditions of the repertory stage. The main theme concerns a woman whose husband has (been insane for 15 years through shell shock and whom she lias divorced on these grounds in order to marry a man she loves, only to find her former husband return to her practically cured on the eve of her marriage' and ignorant of thendivorce. Around this theme the plot is built up on the reactions of the various characters to this occurrence
