BONUS SHARE ISSUE MUTUAL LIFE COMPANY (Reed Julv 14, 2.15 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 14. The Mutual Life and Citizens’ Assurance Company is making a further bonus issue of £300,000. this being distributed in the propottion of three shares for seven held. Coles have advised by cable that the directors have declared a final dividend on ordinary shares of 71 per cent for the half year ended June 30, together with a bonus of 9d a share.

Last year, the company paid n dividend of 17.1 per cent. With the interim dividend of 71 per cent and a bonus of 3$ per cent this years distribution is equal to 18,i per cent, the same as in 1937.
