CONDITION IMPROVED
ALLEGED ASSAULT VICTIM HUSBAND REMANDED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. There is a slight improvement in the condition of Beryl Hazel Winters, who was admitted to the Northern Wairoa Hospital with injuries she received at her home yesterday. Her husband, Harold Winters, aged 52, who was arrested on a charge of assault, causing actual bodily harm, appeared in the Dargavillc Magistrate’s Court this morning and was remanded to appear at Dargaville in August 2.
