alleged attempt on life

Stated by Senior-Sergeant .J. F. H. Mocnamara to have made two previous attempts to take her file, a domestic, aged 85, appeared before Mr. W. M. Jenkins, J.P., in the Police Court this morning, charged with attempted suicide. Pointing out that the case was one which would require to be dealt with by a magistrate, the senior-sergeant applied for a remand until Mondav next, this being granted by the Bench. An order for the suppression of the accused’s name was made.
