Municipal Bus Takings
An increase in the municipal bus •arnings, taking the average per mile ns a basis, was reported to the Gisborne Borough Council last night by he bus manager, Mr. K. G. Ball, for 'he fortnight ended July 3. Earnings totalled ,1)317 4s sd; 6051 miles were tm, and the average earnings per mile totalled 12.53 d., while 29,089 par'cngers were carried. The correnondimr, figures last year were: Earnings, £317 4s 2d; trips, 6089 miles; vcragc earnings, 12/ki per mile; pason yers carried, 25,537.
