COLLISION IN WAIROA (Special to the Herald.) WAIROA. this day. As a result of a fall from his bicycle in Ruataniwha road at 9 a.m. yesterday, the Rev. H. Northcroft, a well-known Rugby footballer, is an inmate of the Wairoa Hospital, suffering from extensive abrasions. Mr. North,croft was cycling along Ruataniwha road when he came into collision with a car driven by Mr. R. W. Pomare. Both the ear and the cyclist ended up in a ditch at the side of the road.
