Swedish women are alrotuly eligible lor all public offices and in principle for the highest posts in the State. 1 hey may become solicitors, ministers, judges—in fact there is no legal bar to their entry into any profession. or service except the army and the church. The new law concerning the employment ot married women implies that as from July 1 women may not be dismissed from employment by reason of their becoming engaged or married or having children.
