DANCING ASSOCIATION
GOOD YEAR IN PROSPECT CHAMPIONSHIP AT SHOW The coming season promises to be a very good one for the Poverty Bay centre of the Piping and Dancing Association, according to statements made at the annual meeting. It was slated that the association was endeavouring to hold a championship dance at the A. and P.' Show. Officers for the coming year were elected as follows:—Patron, Dr. It. M. Gunn; president, Mr. A. Stoneham; vice-presidents. Messrs. Dick McCulloch. J. Mclntyre, C. A. Jolly, Alex Bail-lie, Fred Tolerton, D. Ferguson. Ken Waite, Henry Tucker, H. G. Smith, J. E. McKinley, and J. H, Munro; secretary, Mr. A. Freebairn.; treasurer, Mr. Lock; committee, Mesdames Shields and Freebairn, Messrs. P. 'Sim, B. Fletcher. D. Miller, J. English, 11. JVleKnight,.A. Pilkington. and Dtincombe.
