HAWKE’S BAY ACTIVITY SUPERVISOR’S RETURN After a disappointing start, satisfactory results were achieved in tne organisation of the pig club movement in Hawke’s Bay, and when the supervisor for the Tairawhiti District Pig Council, Mr. H. A. Hopkins, returned to Gisborne last night he reported that two clubs had been formed and two more were to be completed on a further visit he had planned for the second week in August, The two pig clubs formed were those at Hastings and Meanee, the former having a membership of 22 and the latter of 15. The two further clubs proposed were those of RuapereTwoford and Mangateretere - Haumoana.
