TERM OF ONE MONTH THREE ON WANGANELLA (Por Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Remarking that there was too much stowing away going on Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Police Court to-day sentenced James Norton, aged 19, Thomas Daley, aged 18, and Henry James Clancy, aged 27, each to one month’s gaol for this offence.' It was stated that Daley was a native, of Queensland who came over abouOthree months ago and returned to Australia as a stowaway in company with Norton, boarding the Wanganella at Auckland. The company had to lake them to Sydney and bring them back. Clancy boarded tlie vessel at Sydney. He claimed to be a New Zealander with friends in Christchurch.
