SECONDARY INDUSTRIES (Reed. July G. 9 a.m.) CANBERRA, July 5. The production from secondary industries in Australia' in the 1937-38 year reached the record .value of £196,942,000, being an increase of £19,257,000 compared with the 1936-37 period. The number of factories in 1937-38 was 26,395, .being au increase of 727.
