Three visitors were welcomed, Sister Gillgren.-St. Heliers, Auckland, Bro. T. A. Perreau, P.G., Taneatua, antf Bro. J. Clegg, Manawatu.

The secretary reported that as a result of hospital treatment becoming a charge on thj social security fund from July 1, the lodge payments would be reduced by 5s per quarter. The sick visitors' list was at present a long one, .and contained the names of 25 members, including some from outside lodges.

The scarlet degree was conferred on eight members, the degree master being the secretary, while -Bros. Robinson and iH. T. Sinden, P.G., were the examining officers for the lower degrees.
