BOY HANGED AT PLAY
"COWBOY” GAME IN TREE PERTH, June 21. Wallace Gudgeon, aged 12, was found dead, hanging from a tree by a rope, at his parents’ residence at Cottesloe, late this afternoon. There was a cowboy hat on the ground and a toy gun at the boy’s hip. The boy had been playing alone, and nobody saw what happened, but ' it is thought that while clinibing in ' the tree with a rope round his neck * he fell and that the other end became entangled in the branches. He was suspended just clear of the ground. The mother found the body,
