BREAD-AND-WATER DIET
SEVEN I.R.A. OFFENDERS PRISON WORK REFUSED (Reed. July 4. 9 a.m.) LONDON, July 3. The Daily Express reports that seven members of the Irish Republican Army were yesterday placed in solitary confinement on a 'bread-and-water diet for refusing to work at Parkhurst prison. Isle of Wight, and Dartmoor. The troubles quietened during the week-end.
