PROGRESS AT ANNEXES (Reed. July 3, 2.20 p.m.) MELBOURNE, July 3. The Federal Minister for Supply, Mr. R. G. Casey, has announced that the production at two of the munitions annexes sot rip by the Commonwealth Government in railway workshops and private engineering shops would begin in about six weeks. He added that progress reports indicated that, by the end of the year, 23 annexes would be in operation.
